Mp download wont play on android

 · There are a lot of possibilities, so I would start by looking at anything that's different between how you access it on one device vs the other, and if the procedures and apps are identical on both devices then check the settings of the apps, system security settings.  · I am working with MediaPlayer on Android to play mp3. When I play mp3 file from network using url, it is working fine. But when I play local mp3 file in Download Reviews: 1.  · As we all know, Android does announce that MP4 is one of Android compatible formats. However, people still encounter the issue of Android won't play MP4. Why? The reason is MP4 is a container format which means this format may contain various kinds of audio and video codecs while Android is only compatible with MP4 encoded with MPEG-4 or H AVC.

Long story is in the way it works, Chrome asks for the MP3 file, cancels out that request (cause it doesn't want to download), then sends out another request asking for streaming. I tested a few times with WireShark. On one occasion it didn't close the connection and kept on sending packets, never actually responding to the second request. Unlike VLC Media Player, POWERAMP is a paid FLAC player for Android. If you want to use it for free, there is a two-week trial version. Of course, both paid and trial version can play FLAC, MP3, AIFF, OGG, WMA, WAV, and other common digital formats. There are a lot of possibilities, so I would start by looking at anything that's different between how you access it on one device vs the other, and if the procedures and apps are identical on both devices then check the settings of the apps, system security settings.

The main reason is that the audio code or video codec is not supported by Android, in this case, it is better to convert unsupported files to Android more supported MP4. I use iDealshare VideoGo to achieve this goal. Yea I'm guessing the problem is with the PC, mp4 shouldn't be an issue to play with most things unless the phone is doing something weird to them. EDIT - Just found this: Old phones recorded using a simple MPEG-4 video codec. New phones use the H codec. Even still, I'd have thought VLC would be able to play either one. GO to android settings apps choose the app with which you are trying to open the file select storage clear data Now the file shld be playble.. or open ur music app, u shld be able to.
